Criterion's output on Blu-ray far exceeds Masters of Cinema. However, I love MoC, for their focus on silent films.

Yes, but MoC releases better films, at least these days. The gulf will only widen next year, when Criterion starts pumping out the inconsequential IFC fodder.

why do you say inconsequential? some of those are quite good films, sure not catalogue and probably would be released by another stuido if criterion didnt pick them up, but I wouldnt say inconsequential.
