Warehouse 13 -- "Breakdown" -- 9/8/09

Warehouse 13

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Artie gets questioned by the Regents and Mrs. Frederic. Meanwhile, Pete, Myka and Claudia become trapped inside Warehouse 13, where a dangerous predicament unfolds. Benedict Valda: Mark Sheppard.

With alot of stuff starting this week, this will probably get thrown into the backburner. This is episode 10. 3 more left this season.

The last few episodes have been pretty good. Nice to see Badger in this episode also.

enough with Claudia creating unnecessary hijinx in the Warehouse. Second episode in a row now... move along, move along...

I am wondering how in the hell Pete, Myka, and Claudia fixed the hole they made in the inn that was stored in the warehouse?

It was pretty awesome to see how deep the warehouse is and a glimpse at who controls the warehouse itself. True, Claudia may have created some "oops" in the warehouse far too much but at least Artie admitted he did the a similar thing when he started at the place.

Proving the age old adage that you never know everything. Sometimes you have to learn it the hard way.

I am loving Claudia's stuff in the warehouse. How else are we gonna get to see some of the cool stuff they have already collected. They cant do inventory every week.

There were some really good parts of the episode, but overall I was a bit disappointed, mostly because I felt that the writers contrived the two most "dramatic" elements (spoilerized for your protection):

Spoiler:
First, the incident with Pete and the typewriter. Is he really that dense, even after all they have been through, to not be capable of following the one simple "don't look at anything" rule? First, he starts talking to a statue, and then even though there was a clearly marked purple circle on the floor, he steps inside it to look at the typewriter. And then, at the climax, when Claudia is fighting the sticky string, she takes off her gloves, which are the only things protecting her from the effects of the stuff? Are these people morons??

If they were Looney Tunes characters:

Artie = Bugs Bunny. Serious, well-behaved, but can be mischevious when provoked.

Myka = Porky Pig. The obvious leader and most well prepared but gets dragged down by Daffy Duck in a lot of sitiuations.

Pete = Daffy Duck. He is serious when he needs to be but gets distracted easliy.

Claudia = Wile E. Coyote. She can get some incredible gadgets and fixes them well but they backfire on her.
