Buy.com has it for $15.39 right now. Comes out to a few cents more with shipping or you can add something to it to get to $25 for FS. You'll be rolling the dice on a better deal since it's currently listed as temporarily out of stock. Last time I ordered a product like that it was available within a day.

if I am not mistaken, this new set is 9 dvds in 1 box set, the equivilant of 3 - 3disc sets, and I happen to like millcreek's new packaging that they are using on most of thier sets now, they put each disc in a seperate paper sleeve, and then secure all of the sleeves into the middle of the box, which eliminates discs falling off of spindles and getting all scratched up.

I would like to know if they put their bug on the screen like they do with their 50-movie packs. If they don't, I'm all over this set!

You & me both, hilts - I made the mistake of buying from them before and got "bugged" - now I wait for reviews if I can find them.

I don't have the set so I can't say for sure if it has the bug or not. But it seems like when they put the bug on something it's public domain material and they do it so others won't reuse/re-release their stuff. In the case of Wanted Dead Or Alive and some other properties Mill Creek acquired the rights to those. Another company wouldn't be able to re-release those without outright getting caught, and then there would really be some trouble. No matter the reason the bug really does suck, but I doubt we'll have to put up with it here and other non public domain stuff they release.

And I agree that Mill Creek putting the discs in sleeves is a good idea. I hate having to worry about floaters.

I just bought and watched the "booker" set and it had no bugs, so maybe the only sets they put the bugs on are the ones that are public domain, and that the ones that they actually own the rights to they dont. I recently bought the "americas dumbest criminals" set and that didnt have any bugs either

One question please, does this Milcreek´s edition conserve the english subtitles?

not sure, but, i assume that they are using the same masters that bci had, when bci went out of business, millcreek picked up alot of thier line

Thanks jgorow. Yes, probably the same master but i think that they could eliminate the subtitles and, for me, they are necessary.

I would assume they would use whatever digital image bci had for production and just copy it
