best buy not accepting returns

i went to best buy to return a movie i bought and was told that their system was not allowing returns. They said it was nation wide. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Probably figured that's one less customer they'll ever have to deal with trying to make legitimate returns. Take that, honest consumer!

That's what I was wondering. OP, did they tell you you couldn't return the DVD and you just said "Gee, okay" and walked out?

I'd have been pissed, at least until a reason was given.
