Hit up a few Giant Tiger stores the other day and picked up a bunch of boxed sets for $9.99 each as well as regular DVDs for $4.99. Many look to be recently OOP titles. Anyone else out there in Canada find anything good?

He-Man Masters of the Universe (new) V2
Filmation's Ghostbusters V2

Hercules/Adventures of Hercules (2 in 1)

These can also be found at Zellers, so you can add them to the store list. The bins are stocked by the same people from iNetVideo.

anyone that is looking for "original ghostbusters" animated series, should pick up instead, the 2 compilations called "frightfully funny" vol 1 and 2 if you can find them, if you get both volumes you will not only have the ghostbusters but the groovy ghoulies as well, both these shows take me back to my childhood, I am seriously thinking of picking up some "hilarous house of frightenstein" to complete my collection of campy "monster fun" from my childhood, then kick back with a big bowl of count chocula and enjoy

Not much, but I purchased SUGARLAND EXPRESS at a Giant Tiger about two weeks ago for $4.99.

I've found some interesting odds 'n ends in those bins over the past few months (FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE and EL CID boxes for $9.99 each; Peter Kuran's Atomic Bomb documentaries for $2.99, a few Warner/Seville cheapo horror flicks like SHALLOW GROUND and NIGHT OF THE DEMONS III for $1.00 each, the latter a small guilty pleasure).

Depending on where you live, you may want to be cautious of the He-Man, She-Ra, Ghostbusters and Family Feud sets. Here in Toronto there are two DVD liquidation places downtown that sell them for $6 each or 4/$20, along with a few hundred other titles. I started a thread about these places months ago, but it never really went anywhere as I seemed to be the only person who visited them.

Would love to find the He-man, Ghostbusters and She-Ra sets i am missing though I hit 4 Giant Tigers and they seem to only have the ones i listed. The few Zellers stores i went to have had the same bargain DVDs for the last year or two.

Also in the past few months, I picked up a few season sets of Danger Mouse for $4.99 each at Giant Tiger
