What are the best Headphones to buy?

From your experiences which kind of headphones produce the best sound for movies? And what's a good amp to buy for them? So far, I can only find Sennheiser amps made specifically for Headphones.

What's your budget?

I have Sennheiser 580s and 545. They're both good. I'd say the 580 are around, oh, 35 better than the 545 (math joke).

You can get the 580s for $125, which I don't think can be beat. I'm powering mine with the headphone section of an Audiosource Amp 1.

As far as dedicated amps go, Grado makes a really good one.

Again, knowing your budget would be helpful.

The Sennheisser 580's are really good. You can get them along with a virtual surround headphone amp for $200.
