Forum-choosing drop-down gone?

All of a sudden, the drop-down on the left-hand side that lets you jump to other parts of the forum just disappeared. I have to navigate back to the home page and use the drop-down there.

Now a different one just showed up. Feedback: it sucks. Change it back.

EDIT: Now the different one is gone, too...as fast as it appeared. Methinks someone is monkeying with our forum.

But the new one has the new Political Film subforum on it. That's always my first stop, so I'm glad I don't have to go through Other to get there now!

Yeah, the new one seems to be okay. The one that appeared and disappeared again only showed the site areas.

I never use that drop down. I was going to offer mine to one of you who didn't have one, but it sounds like everything is good now.

I just checked the left hand drop down and everything was there. What's with all the drama? ;)

But the new one has the new Political Film subforum on it. That's always my first stop, so I'm glad I don't have to go through Other to get there now!

And I keep clicking on that one accidentally trying to go to Politics. I hate the new dropdown.

I'm using IE8, and it is at the very top of every forum page immediately under "release list".

Weird. It does not show up for me using any browser here at work (IE8, Firefox 3.5, Chrome.) But when I logged into my home computer, it showed up for Chrome only. :confused:

I got used to mainly using the bottom one do to it's full functionality, and sure enough, it seemed like everytime I went to the upper one is was to try to find a forum that wasn't listed up there.

Very weird. When I use my aircard connection, I get a short-form dropdown. When I am on a wi-fi connection, I get the long-form. Same browser.

I hate that I type on the popup to jump to a selection. Used to just hit "V" for the VG Forum and that's gone.

Do like that it has everything and is formatted.

The Video Game forum still has the old dropdown in the top left. Not sure if that is intentional or not.
