I'm part of the wave! Thanks, OP.

I caught a glimpse of a brief intro that said if you wear something with a sports logo into one of their restaurants on Labor Day, you get a free sandwich.

not nearly as fun as dressing like a cow and getting a free meal, that was a hilarious thing to see

Thanks.

Also remember that Chick-Fil-A coupons never expire, ignore the printed dates. I'm still using 2004 calendar coupons. YMMV I guess, but I've never heard of problems.

I'm a assistant manager at a Chick-Fil-A here in Atlanta. If you wear any sports logo on Labor Day, you get a free CFA sandwich. You also can add lettuce, tomato, cheese, or a wheat bun on this day, all of which are 100% free as well.

I figured you guys seem to like the place, so this might be of use.

Also a corporate 'policy.' Stores are to accept out of date coupons, as well as coupons from other stores.

I've been here way too long, and I'm doing PR and not getting paid for this.

Thanks for the confirmation there Stephen. I hope you all keep that policy forever, as I always stock up on the hilarious calendars and have a huge stack of coupons.

Also, the competitor coupon thing was news to me. How does that work exactly? Most of your menu items are not perfect matches for other fast food chain coupons. And can they be expired too?

Some Chik-Fil-A stores have their own coupons that are labeled for use at that particular location. I assume he means that you can use those coupons at any Chik-Fil-A, despite the text on the coupon. I don't think he's referring to competitor coupons, but I could be wrong.

My sister used to work there and she never mentioned coupons from competition, but she did say that you could use store-specific Chik-Fil-A coupons at any location.

That makes more sense.

But if I could use all the Burger King coupons that I usually toss on 'comparable items' at Chick-Fil-A they'd get a lot of my $.

Perfect! That means you didn't waste money on a licensed piece of clothing, and just need to put a post-it with a team name on your shirt, that will work.

It also means you are free to drive all over the county to each Chick-Fil-A multiple times (change post-its to confuse them), collecting dozens of sandwiches for weeks of meals. Don't forget to bring Deb with you!

2 Chick Fil A's about a mile apart. 2 sandwiches for lunch with American & Provolone cheese melted on them. Damn they were good.

On the "Labor Day Give-away", I got one for lunch and then later at another location nearer home, got one for dinner. No lines at either location.

Thanks Chick-Fil-A for this great promotion!

A friend and I went out and hit 5. Well, we hit 4 and then hit the closest one to my house a second time. The only one that was a real problem was the first one, which was a mob at around 12:30. The rest we hit several hours later and by then the rush had died down. Even the rough one was pretty decent on the second run.

Still have some in the fridge, and I'll be happy when my Chikin wave coupon gets here.

^ In my experience, Chick-Fil-A is the best restaurant out there at handling things when there's a large crowd. It always seems like the lines move quickly and you have your food in a short amount of time, at least compared to other places.

Damn. We only have three and the closest to me is about 15-20 min. drive. I wish there was one closer.

Hit 6 on my way home last night. First one was closing as I drove up, they ran out of chicken. I called the second one as I was approaching and they were closing, seemed early, so I think they ran out as well. Next four went well, with no crowds and short or no lines in the drive thru.

I'm not a big fan of their buns, but love that chicken. One last night for dinner, and the other three for meals today and tomorrow.

I went past the same one twice and it was packed as in cars backing into the street. I decided it was not worth the trouble. I only have two around me one in a mall and this street location that just opened in July and it is always packed.

Yeah, but I just wanted to shift this back to the original offer the thread is about and away from the 1-day Labor Day promotion that took it over for a while.
