TV under $15 Sale at Amazon (Studio 60, many others)

What drew me to the site was the price on Studio 60. Some of the usual suspects there, though a good selection if you're in the market for any of these. Beware, though, a lot of these being sold for $14.99 are available as part of $19.99 two-packs at Target and Wal Mart.

I didn't get nearly enough Studio 60 to suit me... but yes, it does give some closure. Very much worth a purchase.

I picked up "Studio 60" a while back for $11.99 as a blind buy. It was well worth it. Decent closure even though it was a bit schmaltzy in the way it was done. I don't understand why this was cancelled as it was very good... every bit as good as 30 Rock even if it does tread similar ground (although done very differently).

15 minutes into the first episode (of a friend's borrowed disc one of the set), and I was captivated by it. By the end of the first episode, I was checking DVDPriceSearch.com for the best price. A few minutes after that, Amazon had my order.

Buck Rogers was there before. When I first stumbled upon the sale, it was the 2nd one on the first page. The first was an ER season, and the third was Studio 60.

Except no one has found any blowout deals on TDK anywhere, so it obviously is not that....and besides, other than Dallas and ER, what other titles that happen to be in this Amazon sale were found at Big Lots? I don't see any of the Warner animated mega finds included....

When I looked, there was also Friends, Superman (George Reeves sets), Full House, etc.. Also very similar stuff at ColumbiaHouse including some of the Hanna Barbara sets .. But alas it really isn't that important.. I just am not sure where the stuff came from.. only that we all got some good deals from a store while it lasted.... and less in our pocketbooks...

I got both The Black Donnellys and Studio 60 the last time Amazon had them for $12. Both seemed to end without ending abruptly, with the Black Donnely's ending open to interpretation. From what I remember, its been a little while since I watched either, I felt satisfied with how they ended. Just angry that they werent given the chance that either show deserved. Studio 60, when it was airing, drew the obvious comparison to 30 Rock. i thought Studio 60 was infinitely better than 30 rock during that period. I really wish we were given more of it.
Both of these sets were mowed down by my dvd player over the course of 2 to 3 days.
I heartily recommend both shows.
