View Full Version : Discussion of Conservative films not allowed?

I just noticed that the description of this sub-forum is "Discuss Documentary + Progressive Films". Does this mean that the forum is actively blocking discussion of non-Documentary Conservative films?

FOR SHAME, I was looking forward to enlightened debate about Red Dawn and An American Carol, but I guess those are taboo.

The good news is that documentaries like Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed or Michael & Me are not off limits.

Discussion is about any type of political film. I have changed the word to remove any confusion. Thanks for highlighting.

Thank you for this professional response to Groucho's querry. Hopefully this tone will change to something more sarcastic when dealing with him in the future. :D

Unlike other political films, Conservative films fall under the Non-Fiction category and therefor don't apply.

wouldn't this make more sense to be a subcategory under Movie Talk instead of Other Talk?

I agree, this subthread will get lost here.

Myself and a couple of others have already begun pleading that case in the Feedback thread. Not that I'll frequent this sub-forum, I just hate the way it looks on the Otter page.

I have no idea why this requires a separate forum from Movie Talk.

I wouldn't want the political discussion crap to leak all over a good Movie Talk Forum.

Not sure what this means.

Anyhow I just wanted all to know that my Cheetos, Budweiser, Dupont, Sunoco, Viagra, Army, Home Depot PC is running great tonight!

I think he meant the forum will be covered with ads like NASCAR.
