ANyone reading The Stand or THe Gunslinger series?

I picked up the hardcover versions of the three Gunslinger series and the first from The Stand. Any King fans pick these up? Are they faithful and good interpretations? I cracked the Stand last night to look at some artwork, and was impressed with some of what I saw.

I love The Stand comic - read the novel several times (literally ; big audio book guy and have listened to the unabridged too many times to count). I think it is very faithful thus far.

Gunslinger comic I didn't like. And I am a huge fan of the series (though I hated books 5 and 6, and only semi-enjoyed the last book). I don't know; the first series just turned me off. I didn't like the writing or the drawing. I was really surprised, too. I may revisit it at some point, though.
