Godric was easily the most interesting character this season. Even though he was only a prominent in two eps. he made a real impact.

It was a nice "interlude" before the shit hits the fan. Sorry to see Godric go, I think there was a lot they could have done with him but happy to see them head back to Bon Temps.

Where has Pam been most of the season? The way her and Eric play off of each other is fun.

Jessica and Hoyt continue to be one of my favorite storylines on the show.

I too am sorry to see Godric go. Great scene on the rooftop between he, Eric and Sookie.

Excellent episode--I'm going to miss this so much when the season ends. I'm rereading the books, but unfortunately I can't make myself forget what's going to happen next.

I was sorry to see Godric go; I'd kind of hoped they would change that (more than they did).

And Eric. I swear, he gets hotter and hotter every episode, even when he's being an asshole ("Bill, you're right. I believe I can sense her emotions." )

I can never suspend the idea that The Church of the Sun people are right. The vampires are murdering monsters. In 2000 years, how many people do you suppose Godrick murdered for food? If only one per week, that would be over 100,000 murders on his hands. Is it suddenly okay now because, now that a substitute for human blood is available, they can "feel real bad about it?" Even though most vampires shown on the show want to keep on killing, and do keep on killing?

There is no statute of limitations on murder in the US.

Bring on the sun.

So I thought that Nan Flanagan was the queen, but I guess that is not true. No one seemed scared of her.

You assume every feeding equals a death. That doesn't seem to be necessary, just enjoyable for them.

I agree that the Fellowship has a point, but again, isn't forgiveness a large part of Christianity? Isn't that what Godric was searching for? I understand wanting to kill those vampires that murder indiscriminately, but it seems vampires have a choice. They aren't "soulless" per Buffy canon.

^ That whole scene made no sense. Jason standing right next to the bomb isnt' hurt at all

Pretty boring episode IMO, except the Godric stuff. The best storyline in the shows history and the best character and he gets 2 episodes. While the worst storyline and the worst character gets the rest. I'll stick with it for the last 3 episodes, but a lot need to change before I'll watch season 3.

Jason was pushed by the bomber back toward an open doorway - it's just behind him and to his left. If he jumped/fell through the doorway when he saw the explosives, then the hallway walls would have protected him from most of the shrapnel [particularly if he ended up laying on the ground]

Of course, this is a television show about vampires, shapeshifters, and telepaths walking around openly - so I'm not holding them to strict logic anyway

I thought the scar on the reverends head was classic.

But do they have tatoo like that 2000 years ago? I think not.

I believe they've found tattoos on primitive people found in the ice from thousands of years before that.
