saw this on SD, and i verified it today.
those in socal, they have the CFL bulbs for dirt cheap at some Costco's. I got a 10-pack of the coil type for $1+tax (normally, it's $13.50). They also had reflector types as well, i got a 6-pack of reflector (R30) for $2.40+tax (normally $17.50). They had other types of reflector bulbs from $2.40 to $4 or 5. I saw it at the Simi Valley branch, but not at the Northridge branch. Rebate is thru SCE, so if you're serviced by SCE, then there's a chance that the local Costco will have it.
