DVD sets at Food World
Like I was saying in the Big Lots thread, I had to stop for some groceries on my way home, so I went to Food World. On the way to the checkout, I saw a DVD rack and went over to see what they had. After perusing one side, I went around to the other and immediately saw Veronica Mars 1! For $9.99! I then saw some other sets and dug through them and found my beloved Veronica Mars 2 for which I've been searching over hill and dale! Other sets there: Wonder Woman (all 3 seasons I believe), Dallas, Murphy Brown, and Dukes of Hazzard.
ETA: No one seems into this thread, which isn't that surprising as stores are only in AL and FL, but if anyone is interested, I've gone to all the stores in Pensacola and the one in Milton and they all have sets except the one on Lillian Hwy., where I couldn't find any. I also came across The New Adventures of Superman, which I grabbed. Other sets I've seen in addition to the above: Nip/Tuck, Superman: The Animated Series, Knots Landing, Night Court. All sets are $9.99. I came across the animated Batman DVD, Gotham Knight (I would normally go for such a Batman deal, but I really didn't care for GK), for $7.99, which raised my hopes for more of the recent animated movies, but I only found Superman: Doomsday for $9.99. The thought of paying more for it than the price of the Batman movie and the same as the price of the sets left a bad taste in my mouth, so I skipped it.

Re: DVD sets at Food World
I stopped by a Southern Family Market here (which is part of the same corporation as Food World) and found some of the titles you mentioned, but the only one I bought was The New Adventures of Superman to go along with the other 60s DC/Filmation sets I already had.
But the most surprising item I saw was the 2 CD deluxe edition of The Cure album Pornography... for $6.99! Too bad I already had it.

Re: DVD sets at Food World
I went grocery shopping at Southern Family Market again yesterday, and they had restocked with some new TV boxsets, including the elusive Veronica Mars S2, for $9.99.
