DVD Talk review of 'The Hunt for Red October' (Blu-ray)
I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of The Hunt for Red October at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=34148 and...
I have agreed with all of the reviews on DVD
talk. However, I bought this Blu ray and was
impressed with the video and the audio effects
were great.
One thing I didn't enjoy was the audio for
voices. I have calibrated my audio and
this is the only Blu ray or DVD I have ever
experienced the problem.
It made the action scenes almost unbearable,
because the voices were extremely muffled.
I can't rule out a software glitch or even
my AVR. I'll rent the movie and see if I get
the same problem.
