Re: Favorite 90's Nickelodeon Shows
There were a lot of good show on Nick at this time. Ironically there was something for everyone.
The "horror" crowd had Are You Afraid of the Dark...which wasn't bad for tweener scary stuff.
You had the "girly" crowd that had Clarissa, Alex Mack and Shelby Woo.
There was the sketch crowd (I was one of them) that could enjoy Roundhouse, The Amanda Show, and Keenan And Kel.
There were game shows, Wild and Crazy Kids, Guts and Figure it Out.
And there was the off the wall live action stuff, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Eureeka's Castle, and Welcome Freshmen.
But nothing will beat the original Nick Toons lineup of Ren & Stimpy, Doug and the Rugrats. Sure there were other good ones, but those three were the best.

Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts. Had to break down and buy the bootlegs because these are never coming out. The shows were every bit as great as I remembered them.

Re: Favorite 90's Nickelodeon Shows
Man, I miss 90s Nickelodeon. Easily the most memorable TV watching of my youth. I loved Hey Dude, Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts, Welcome Freshman, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, and. Ren & Stimpy. Good memories with those shows.
The Hey Dude ranch is actually somewhat still in existence. I went out of my way to see it when I was in Arizona last year and it's like all dilapidated but you can still tell that it was filmed there.
Pete & Pete was just so bizarre. I love that King of the Road episode and the one when Little Pete, Wayne Pardu, and Mona (I think that was her name - Michelle Trachtenburg's character) were in school on Saturday detention thanks to Principal Adam West.
Funny I can remember TV shows I haven't seen in 15 years but I can't recall what I did this morning.

Wasn't there a bowling ball episode of Pete & Pete that had Artie rolling one around the world?
Also for you trivia buffs.. the guy who played Artie was "The Wiz" in that one episode of Seinfeld when Elaine fell in love with him, and also a Frank Sinatra impersonator in Vegas Vacation (the one that took Rusty's picture for his Nick Papagiorgio license). I think he was also the voice of Bill in King of the Hill if I'm not mistaken.
