Saturday Night Live SNL Dress Rehearsals?
Should NBC ever do a special where they showed sketches that were cut in dress rehearsal or maybe produce a dvd with the lost sketches?
I watched the best of Alec Baldwin SNL DVD and it had 2 sketches one with a political parody and the other "Gay Train" a spoof of Soul Train that were not televised.
I think it would be interesting to see no matter if they are funny or not.

I could see a season special (or even a DVD special feature) best of the dress rehearsal cut sketches show. Then again, I understand it to be the case that a lot of cut sketches get reworked and eventually see air. There might not be enough for even a half hour special.

considering some of the unfunny, long/boring stuff that does get onto air, I cringe to see what they actually cut. More episodes of Bear City perhaps ... really now.
