I hope how horrible the scenes where they were hinting Marshall and Mary have feelings for each other turned out was enough to kill any thoughts the writers had for putting them together.

I found this episode to be very awkward on so many levels.

It was really cool that they casted Kelly Hu, but making her a CIA Operative/Assasin and the Lesbian Lover of Sherilyn Fenn.....WTF?? And Fenn looked like shit in this episode. I know she's 44 now, but damn she looked like she was 15-20 years older. She looks like she hasn't been going to the gym or eating right lately. Kelly is still smoking hot, but this was a shitty role for her.

The scenes with Mary and Marshall were just so weird.

Not the worst episode of the season (that belongs to the Stan-themed one), but definitely not good either.

I don't know. I get the feeling that that will still crop up at some point. I didn't really see it as her having feelings for him, though. He's the only one that has sort of shown an interest, at least from my perspective.

That last scene was totally awkward. Terrible scene.

I know a part of the shtick is that Mary is a bitch, but as Peter said in the last episode, it just seems like she doesn't like her family or Raf. I know that her family has put her through a lot so I can understand that, but Raf has been nothing but supportive, especially with Brandi's problems. She's just plain unlikable outside of her job.

We can all see that things will end with Raf and Brandi together and Mary and Marshall Marshall together, but it seems like the cop might be a third wheel. I can see Mary and Raf breaking up, leaving an opening for Marshall, but he'll wait too long and the cop will take his place (until the finale anyway).

It was supposed to be very awkward.

The whole show was about awkwardness. I mean a CIA/civilian lesbian love affair? Marshall wore Mary's engagement ring the whole time. In public?

Every moment and scene was awkward. Wasn't that the whole theme of the episode?
