"Hard-Hearted Hannah"

Accompanied by Isabel’s human boyfriend Hugo, Sookie embarks on a dangerous mission to locate Godric. Meanwhile, Bill is shocked when a vampire from his distant, more violent past resurfaces in Dallas. In Bon Temps, Daphne presses Sam to get comfortable in his own skin(s); Hoyt continues his unlikely courtship of Jessica; Andy interrogates Lafayette about his disappearance; and Tara and Eggs take a detour while on a road trip. At the Light of Day camp, Jason faces difficult emotional and physical choices.

For some reason the whole backstory of Bill and his maker reminds me of a storyline from Angel.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I kept getting flashbacks to season 2 episodes of buffy: "Surprise/Innocence" and the "Becomings"... It's interesting, but I can't help but starting to look at the parallel's now:

A blond w/ powers she doesn't want is put into circumstances beyond her control and enters a love triangle with the dark brooding first boyfriend and the quirky/mysterious blond guy...

Excellent episode. TB is a wonderful program when the plot marches forward at a fast clip.

Now that's what I've been waiting for. Great episode, still need more Jessica but Tara's plot finally didn't drag this week.

i suspect Andy comes running up to the Orgy/Sacrifice and saves Sam in the next episode.

At least I hope so, cause I'm REALLY tired of the Maryann storyline.

bingo. all I can think is the "next time" clips are spread out over 6 more episodes! rather than any kind of conclusion...this is all going to drag out way too much. I'd rather 8 or 10 great episodes than stretching it out like they are.

Damn Bill's Maker is fuckin' Hot. I love her eyes.

Anyway, it was good to see Bill's "Darker Side" in this ep, and my girl Pam was only on for a few minutes but damn if she didn't make a big impact. I lurves me some Pam.

I thought she was great looking with her hair straight and down, but when they showed her in the flashbacks she just looked weird to me.

Yeah I read that on Wiki while looking up the books. I think the cover of one of the books has Sookie between a dark haired Vampire and a Blonde one. I assumed it was Erik when saw that.

So Sookie eventually falls for Erik huh? Does she really fall for him or is it one of her, "I'm mad at Bill so I'm open to others" moments like she had with Sam?

I wouldn't count on them doing a straight-up adaption of the books, though.

I could see them pulling a "Dexter" and going off in their own direction.
