DVD Talk review of 'Bardelys The Magnificent, Monte Cristo'

I read John Sinnott's DVD review of Bardelys The Magnificent, Monte Cristo at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=38002 and now I am very excited. My family has had a Photoplay edition of The Count of Monte Cristo for decades, so I grew up with stills from this movie. I never thought I'd finally get the opportunity to see it.

I will order this set soon and hope I have luck. I have had trouble playing Flicker Alley discs of late and the problem discs were two of the Doug Fairbanks set and some of the Valentino material. My equipment is new having renewed all recently. No other dics have trouble. They work fine on the computer drives though.

There is a known problem with the Fairbanks set. Flicker Alley has a replacement program, so check their website.

The first thing I did when I got Fairbanks in the mail was to check out all the discs on my portable player. I was able to play all the discs, so it looks like they have fixed them.
