I have a meeting starting on Wednesday and decided to fly in a couple of days early.
I'm staying at NYNY on Sun/Monday and moving to the meeting hotel on Tuesday afternoon. Meetings Wed-Frid and depart Saturday.
I'll probably check out the half price places for a show Monday night. Any recommendations?

Print it. Use it. Meet them and get your picture made with them after the show -

Cool! Sunday night I'll probably just walk around doing some bar hoping. Monday I plan to spend some time at the pool and might see a show on Monday night.

Back from Vegas after a week. Well really on the strip two nights and three nights at Red Rock. Some random note in no particular order;
-Extremely pissed at NYNY. I have stayed their a couple of times, but when I checked in they only had a smoking room. Not thinking that much about it, I took it. I put up a little fight, but I've been around smokers all my life, so not a huge issue. Especially for 2 quick nights. However, when I got to Red Rock in a non-smoking room and unpacked my stuff, I realized all my un-worn business clothing including my new suit smelled like smoke. Not enough time to have my stuff dry cleaned, two of my peers asked me if I took up smoking!!! They also charged me $20 to workout at their very ordinary gym. Their pool is very lacking. I only laid out there for about 90 minutes. As mentioned I have stayed there before. I love the Irish bar, had fun at the piano bar (lots of fun), love their sandwich and pizza places. I was going to try Rok, but didn't want to pay the $20 cover. He then offered only $10, but it looked a little to young of crowd for me. I like NYNY, but I'll think twice about staying there again. Total cost was like $120 for two nights after takes and such.
-I don't really gable. I lost $50 over about an hour and half on black jack. I started out pretty good and was actually up about $50, but then I got drunk...LOL. But I did when $5.00 at nickel slots and $20 at .25 slots so I netted down about $25.
-I didn't see a show. I could have gotten same day tickets at the half price place for Blue Man Group for like $36. I was tempted, but didn't feel like going by myself. I heard live music at Toby Keiths (not that good) and Margiritaville (pretty good).
-Red Rock was extremely nice. Rooms on par if not nicer then Venetian. But it is far from the strip and I probably wouldn't go again (I was only there for a business meeting). Best part? The pool! Nice pool with by far the hottest, friendliest bartenders and staff all wearing very skimpy bikini's. I did get to see Counting Crows for free. But lead singer was a no show. Sick or something, so I only listened to 4-5 songs.
-Lots of construction going on at the strip. Town Center or whatever they call it is going to be incredible. I LOVE walking the strip. And did it a lot.
-Sunday night, Monday and Monday night on the strip actually seemed a little busy. Busier then I had thought for Sunday/Monday. I stayed out till about 2:30 on Monday night bar hopping. I did run into some "unusual" women (drama, creepy and whinny in that order)....LOL
-At least two of the hotels (NYNY and MGM) offer this text page thing. You text them and then they text you with deals. I got 2 for 1 drinks at MGM and took advantage of those. I got offered other deals that seemed pretty good, but didn't have time to take advantage of.
Overall good time!
