I didn't even know about this one until I read that Tony Leung had broken his arm training for the film (http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/07/14/tony-leung-breaks-his-arm-preparing-for-new-wong-kar-wai-film/). Apparently it will start shooting in September, assuming Leung recovers in time.

Planned around the same time. Funny thing is I think they are working on Ip Man part 2 soon.

Seems rather Hollywood to have two films of the same subject going into development nearly around the same time but it's Wong Kar-Wai and Tony Leung so I'm in. :up:

This is Wong Kar Wai we're talking about here. The film may in fact have no martial arts in it and instead be a meditation on being a practitioner of an ancient art in a modern society or who knows what. I doubt it will be a "double-scoop of awsome" action film.
