I have never received coupons in the mail, but I usually do via email. I hope I get these. Thanks for the post...

I've never seen any coupons from Half Price Books, either, but I don't think I'm signed up for anything from them, either (except their fan page on Facebook). Nor do I remember seeing a place to sign up for anything. My son likes books so my mom gave him a $25 GC for his birthday and gave us the $5 coupon she received with it (which I just realized expired yesterday..doh!). But if I had some other coupons, I could use them with the GC.

Thanks for the heads up, OP. I usually get these in my e-mail so I'll keep an eye open for 'em.

I just found it in my spam box. It came July 9. Glad I hadn't cleared it out since then.

Stopped by this morning and HPB has many of the Warner TV DVD sets currently found at Big Lots....at higher prices of course. (Typically $14.98 vs. $6.00.) This has been the case in the past with other genres and titles found at both stores.

The only thing I found that interested me was a $2 Clearance Corner bio: "Christmas In July: The Life and Art of Preston Sturges" by Diane Jacobs. A buck-forty after coupon.

I bought the 2-disc set of Lemony Snicket's ASOUE. It was on sale for $10. Weird because I already placed an order in Amazon but, fortunately, I canceled that order.

Does anyone know if the email coupons can be printed and used multiple times or if they're unique and the computer system will only let a coupon be used once?

I haven't tried yet this go-around, but I've used the ones in the past multiple times.

REALLY?! I wouldn't want to try because if you can't, then you get caught red handed. I really want to try that for the 40% and 50% coupons.

Thanks, I have a couple of people coming with me tomorrow who don't have coupons and I'll print some more out for them.

If people can use the printed coupon over and over again, is it OK to post somewhere? I'd love to have this coupon since, as I said above, I have a $25 GC to use. Though it's actually my son's. My mom bought it for him for his 1st Birthday because he likes looking at books. The problem is that she bought a bunch of them while she was in there and keeps buying them (along with everyone else), so he has an over abundance of books. The only reason she went in there in the first place was because they had a $5 coupon when you buy a $25 GC. She bought the GC to get the $5 coupon, but because we couldn't use it right then, I put it in my wallet and forgot all about it until the day after it expired :(.

Can confirm that these can be printed and used multiple times. Used the 40% 3 times today.

Picked up a Scorcese Box set that was down to 9.98 new, for $6 +tax after 40% coupon,

Boxcar Bertha, New York New York (spec. ed), Last Waltz (spec. ed) and Raging Bull (2Disc spec. ed), in slipcase. Raging Bull was sealed, the others not, but the set was New.

Coupons printed out can be used multiple times. And it's been my experience that you can use multiple coupons per visit (of course, it might depend on the location you got to--but I wouldn't use more than 2 per visit), but they need to be seperate transactions. And don't feel guilty about doing this... the workers there seem to welcome it because it's a sale to them ($$$$$).
