Might help to start this during the actual TV season so there is actually something to discuss.

Agree. A little too late in the game friend. The season ended a month and a half ago. Also, procedurals almost get no discussion in this forum.

Re: Cold Case fan thread

So it seems as though in order to keep these series going they have dramatically reduced the number of songs they license per show. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

It was one of the great things about this show in years past. I guess it was an easy way to cut budget.

Re: Cold Case fan thread

Anybody else not get to watch Cold Case last night? Because the NYJ-Buffalo game went to overtime, the game ended at 7:15pm CST. So instead of just pushing everything back an hour CBS decided to postpone CC's ep to this coming Sunday so the "news" could air 15 minutes late instead of an hour and 15 minutes late. Does that mean that all the eps. will get pushed back a week (air them all a week later and the 1st repeat Sunday, air the last postponed new one)? I've read the CC board at CBS.com and apparently no one in the US got to see it. But people in Canada did, so good for them, I guess.

Re: Cold Case fan thread

Cold Case doesn't get much love here. But tonight (Nov 22) it is supposed to be on at 9 Eastern instead of 10 Eastern. However, check the pad for CBS in the Amazing Race thread. There is football and it WILL overrun tonight.

Re: Cold Case fan thread

The ratings for Cold Case have been way down this season, mainly due to football overrun and a bad lead-in (Three Rivers) This is suppose to be an experiment to see if Cold Case's numbers get a boost with The Amazing Race as it's lead-in.

Anyways, it's been speculated that this will almost certainly be the final season of Cold Case.

Re: Cold Case fan thread

I watched one episode to see what this show was all about and I think this MadTV parody is dead on:

I don't see how any show can have good numbers when it constantly has its start time changed due to football. Any replacement for Cold Case is going to have the same problem.
