Well, the Paxson storyline pretty much fizzled out. Glad to see it go on the backburner; I'm not sure what they're going for there.
I liked Sam's line to the IRS guy about how he got the gun: "There was this thing and then the gun didn't have an owner anymore..."
I'm actually surprised Sam even files income tax returns.

I enjoyed this episode but there were a few issues. Agree, the Paxson story had a fizzle feel about it. She never really rose above the level of a minor nuisance. Maybe they are setting her up to become an ally or re-occurring resource Micheal uses like Bernie.
I enjoyed the job of the week, and the "crew" the gang became, but the final job seemed a little sloppy. It seemed like a pretty dumb plan for the criminal mastermind the big boss was suppose to be, even the not so bright Tommy wasn't fooled. And wouldn't it have been much easier to just grab the cook when he left the lab and force him to disable the alarm, instead of instigating a huge gun fight?

Just got to watch it last night. I enjoyed it.
I can't believe the Paxson thing is completely over. Although, it did seem anti-climactic and over VERY quickly. I'm sure it's going to build again to something. (I think she'll be a "threat" at least once more.)

Still like the show a lot, but a bit of an odd opening to Season 3.

The plan was for Michael and crew to be caught in the fire fight and not make it out alive and the boss and Tommy drive off in the van out the backdoor. This is why Michael asked for the location ahead of time, to have Fi set up the flashpots as cover for their escape.

I was thinking the same thing... it went from a minor thing in the first couple of shows to consume a whole show and close it out. I suspect this may be one of those every once in a while story arcs (maybe like the Dutch, umm... Jay Karnes thing), but it was a bit of a letdown... They built Det Paxson up as this pitbull going after Michael and then she just lets it go?
