So the fridge box was a Best Exclusive right? Anyone know if there is anything else different about it and what DD sells? I ask because with any luck, DD will have it for around $87.
This is good deal, but I'm thinking I might wait it out for the inevitable blue-ray set that should be about a quarter of the size of this behemoth.

While shopping at bestbuy, they have Lost seasons 1 2 3 for $17.49 each, as with the seinfeld set, you can do in store pickup to save on the shipping and of course there is sales tax with best buy.
You have a week to pick it up. As long as the store has it in stock you should be fine.

I think its the normal seinfeld set with a fridge outerbox. Thought about the DD sale, since considering tax it's $20 cheaper, but no guarantee that DD won't raise the price so just spent for the exclusive box.
BTW didn't realize how huge and heavy this set is.

That is a very tempting price for the seasons of LOST, but I think I want to wait for the inevitable complete series release.

i do believe in-store pickup is required within 8 days or order. but ymmv as always sheesh - in the past year, ive had two in-store pickups where the dvd was not waiting for me at customer service.

it's too bad BB doesn't have that $24 guarantee like CC had.

^ Best Buy used to have a guarantee in place, but I believe they did away with that policy some time ago.

Yeah, Best Buy's policy was $10 if it took them more than 10 minutes after you got to the counter and they entered your order number in the computer. I was able to get the $10 once when they couldn't find my order.

wasnt the time frame supposed to be within one minute? i recall a big digital timer that each store had. catch is, they have one minute to get your item from the back pretty much after they find the order on the computer or something like that.

Why would the Blu-ray set be any smaller? They're not going to release the show in standard definition on Blu-ray discs. The content will be in high definition, which means you'll get about the same amount of content per disc as the DVD set.
