Went there today with this coupon and for the first time was denied to use it for Blu-rays. They said they had gotten a memo saying the coupons were never meant to be used for blus so now they can't take them except for CDs and DVDs. Has anybody else had this happen recently?

Darn, I was just at Suncoast 2 hours ago. My backstage pass membership expires TOMORROW. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow night to use this... Hopefully they didn't see that memo at my store...

BTW, my store had a big sign promoting a 45% bonus on used items you sell them, if you take credit instead of cash... Deal expires August 11. I plan on getting rid of some stuff, after I check the prices...

Coupon says... One coupon per transaction per visit. If I print out the same coupon 6 times and go each day to buy something will it work everytime?

i use this coupon alot.if they give you crap about blu rays call the manager or corporate.i've used these at 4-5 stores and they never turn me down.

No, it was the FYE in Burbank. I go in there a lot and have always been able to use them before, but I guess their corporate office is trying to be more strict.
And to add fuel to the fire, they said that the new policy also applies to all of their in store sales (like the buy-2-get-1-free / buy-2-get-20%-off, etc). Supposedly those sales were also only for CDs and DVDs and not Blu-rays.

Must be YMMV.........my FYE gave me 40% off a USED Blu-ray with NO PROBLEM.
Also didn;t even need to use a backstage pass with the coupon.

How are the trade in values at FYE on DVD's and/or Games? I have a few 360 games I want to trade in. 45% bonus seems nice.

depends on the title.sometimes on games and dvds its more worth it to sell them back there than ebay.the thing is they give you 25% more in credit,so its a pretty good deal with the brown bag 45%

WTK, where do you get these coupons? I was a member for years until last week (just expired) and have never once received a coupon... I get the weekly emails, but no coupons... I might try the one-month trial special they have going on right now (with the free $20 GC) but then I'm done... I don't feel it's worth it to me as much as it used to...

When I cancelled mine they extended the offer for an extra month for free. I finally cancelled and was not charged anything and got my $20 gift card in the mail in about 6 weeks.

I got one older coupon somewhere a while back (I don't recall where). And if you look at the URLs of the coupon images closely, it's fairly easy to figure what the next one would be. You just change up the URLs and go from there...

Just came from an FYE where I signed up this deal. Seemed like a no-brainer since it immediately gave me 10% off of the small purchase I made today. I was assured I could keep the $20 even if I decided to cancel before being billed. One of the associates told me that if I wanted, I could bring the $20 gift card in, cancel this promotion and apply the $20 towards the $25 annual membership. Don't necessarily see myself going this route, but it's an option I suppose.
