Slow week, but my wallet thanks me since I just preordered GI Joe and Transformers sets coming out in July ($285 for both , but so worth it).

That drum-shaped Woodstock set is appealing - if not for the great music, then for the packaging.

Those drums are massive. Only a matter of time before they are dumped cheap.

Thanks for the post! I've been thinking about the Woodstock 3 cd set at $24.99; I'll wait for Sunday (besides most stores are sold out & running the add they'll have to restock!)

People are selling those drums on eBay for like 90-100 bucks (buy it now). Trying to capitalize on the hype I guess.

Doh! Just bought that Woodstock drum-shaped set today. Oh well, I'll just take the receipt back and get the difference credited.

Don't know why Target won't carry any TVs above 50 inches- I gotta have at least a 52-inch, and might get Vizio's new 55-inch with LED backlight after that comes out. I'd much rather buy it at Target than Wal-Mart if I can help it.

That 50-inch plasma for under a grand is a deal though, assuming that the thing lasts for more than a year after you get it home.

I might pick one up then, because I don't want to work: I just want to bang on the drum all day.

Target wins in a few of the new release price comparisons this week.

They are cheapest for all three versions of Confessions of a Shopaholic, Inkheart SD, Code SD, and The Pink Panther 2 both versions.

Does anyone else find the picture of the little girl wearing a Woodstock t-shirt odd? Yes there was good music at Woodstock, but there was also sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. Do you think she watched the movie with her parents and said "Mommy, I want that t-shirt."?

No, I think she got paid to wear that shirt for the ad photo.

Ok. point taken. I expressed myself poorly (isn't the first time). What I meant was Woodstock apparel for kids just seems odd, as does the thought of a young girl watching the movie with her parents.
