Great! Now I can become suicidally depressed in Hi-Def!

I know it has it's fans, but it's a film I have zero intereset in ever revisiting.

I thought it was excellent, but I shared your sentiments right after seeing it. I've relented a bit, though. I think I'd give it a repeat viewing at some point.

One of my favorites and a movie that should be shown in schools to serve as an anti-drug message.

Ah yes :)

It'd be slightly edited of course.

One of my least favorite movies ever. Except for the naughty parts.

You want it to give a message but edit it??

The sex is not the primary footage I'd want to show them. It's the drug sequences that I'd want them to see.

I've never seen this. I may give it a rent once the Blu-ray is released.

Altering/censoring anything goes against everything I believe in.

Rental is the way to go. You won't want to revisit it often, if at all.

I had never thought about it until this thread, but it hit me that I picked up the DVD years ago after seeing the movie the first time and I have never once put it in my player. I still remember it well, and can vividly picture a number of scenes, it's just not something you want to watch over and over. After realizing that, the Blu-Ray is a definite bargain bin title for me. I can wait years until this is dirt cheap if necessary.

I've watched this movie 2-3 times in the last five years or so, I basically only watch it when it comes up in conversation and someone else wants to watch it. I think i'm gonna keep my DVD until the BR is under $10.

I saw it for the first time a little over a month ago. I'd watch it again, but with someone who hasn't seen it before.

Extremely depressing but a film that still draws me in everytime I watch it because it's so well made, acted, and directed.

I'm on the fence about picking this up on Blu.

I love this movie but it's not one I'm ever eager to rewatch. The last time I watched it I did so because I hadn't seen it in a couple of years and wanted to know if it held up. It did but it also left me depressed.

Give it two weeks and it will be $10. The LG catalog titles are being released really cheap these days.

My favorite film of all-time. I preordered the Blu awhile back. Nice to see that it's a quality disc.
