TARTAN DVDs at the $1 Shop

This may be old news but I havent had a computer for like 2 or 3 months but I picked up Tartan DVDs from the $1 Shop (for $1) but it has been a month or so ago but you might wanna look if ya got a $1 shop, and the titles i picked up were, all were sealed and most had slipcovers

The $1 Shop in my town (Ft Scott,KS) only got 1 copy of the OldBoy Tin Can and I got it, my wifes cousin is dating the manager of the local shop so I get a heads up to all new $1 DVDs they get and get first pick :) They got like 2 copies of all the others and 4 or 5 copies of Bush's Brain. All the Tartan DVDs are gone now so idk if they are widely available or not. I didnt keep the Oldboy Tin Can because I had the single disc of it that I bought at Hastings years ago and I dont have room for those big tin cans so I sold it to a friend for $50

I didnt name the price he did, I had it sitting on my "Junk Shelf" of stuff I was taking to hastings the next time I went there to trade for other stuff and he seen it and asked if I was getting rid of it I said ya and he said ill give ya $50 for it so I said ok and took the $49 profit. I bought the movie with the sole intent of trading it to hastings and thought $50 was more than I would get in trade-in value at hastings

I did a yellow pages search for "dollar shop" in Ft. Scott, KS and the name of the store seems to be One Dollar Shop. I don't know how prevalent they are throughout the country, but there is one here (Topeka) also.

If you're in SW Missouri, don't get your hopes up on this tipoff. You will be sorely disappointed.

Found 5 locations online within ez driving distance:

Joplin, MO Store: NOTHING.
(And quite possibly the seediest, shabbiest dollar-type-store I've ever seen.)

Webb City, MO Store: Has been shuttered for a year, so... NOTHING.

Aurora, MO: Hasn't been a $1 Shop in a while. So NOTHING.

Springfield, MO -- Kansas Expressway Store: Shuttered. NOTHING.

Springfield, MO -- Sunshine Store: NOTHING.
