Hey guys, I am either going to get an AudioSource SW Fifteen Powered Subwoofer http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00001OXQE/102-3245912-7872005 or a JBL PSW-D112 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00000JFE7/102-3245912-7872005 . Amazon carries both of these products if you wish to look them up. Any suggestions?

Along the same lines, I am looking at a Klipsch Klipsch KSW-12 which had received many great reviews. Any idea where to get the best price for this subwoofer?

Snyder81, don't buy the SW15 through Amazon. You can get it for $70 less from Costco.com. Don't worry if you don't have a membership there, as they just charge 10% more. Here it is: http://www.costco.com/frameset.asp?t...ierid=304&log=

I'm not sure if it's in your price range, but the Hsu VTF-2 ($500) is probably the best budget sub out there. It plays the lowest and loudest of anything in it's price class. Check it out at www.hsuresearch.com and read reviews of all subs at www.audioreview.com speakers section.
The JBL would probably be a better sub then the AudioSource, but it seems to have reliability problems (see reviews at audioreview.
The AudioSource would be great for movies, but not the best for music.

Thanks for the posts. I just picked up one of the SW15s from Costco. I had called my local ones yesterday and they were out. Didn't even think to check their webpage. 220 with shipping and tax is a pretty good deal. Just hope they still have it in stock.
Btw, the non-member charge was 5%, not 10. Even better.

Oh yeah. It is 5%. I ordered one about 2 months ago. It sounds good. Read the posts in audioreview.com to find ways to make it sound better.

Thanks for the replies. The reason I am ordering it from Amazon is because I have about $300 in GC's to spend. Did anyone find a good price on the Klipsch sub yet?
