I read Cameron McGaughy's DVD review of Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (Deluxe Edition) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=37522 and...

Well, I have not read it yet, but I felt the need to start the thread because Cameron's previous reviews on this series were friggin' excellent. I can't wait to go to work tomorrow and spend a good 45 minutes just reading through it instead of doing actual 'work. Will Cameron being handling the other two DVD releases as well?

Will Cameron being handling the other two DVD releases as well?Cameron's tackling the 2009 remake/remix and part VI. Ian Jane is handling The Final Chapter.

*blushes*

I'll also do The Final Chapter on my own when it comes out, as close to Tuesday as I can make it :-P

So I have at least two more to look forward to (nahh, I like Ian as well).

Awesome, I look forward to reading them. There is something about your writing style that gets me hooked from the getgo. I know if I start reading now I won't be able to stop and I have real 'work' to do.

Thanks for the kind words...what can I say, I'm passionate about Friday the 13th films (gotta to be passionate about something, right?)

Are you really Joel McHale? Or do you just have really good taste in avatars? :-P

Yes great review. Crappy movie. I grew up on Friday the 13th and this and Jason takes Manhattan are my least watched.

I love that creepy shot of Steinman you included. Looks like we got a maniac on the loose, huh sheriff?

someone posted this in the other thread, but why do they use the wrong "Jason" mask on all the slipcovers?

Because they don't care?
