several weeks ago I posted about a table of dvds they had at albertsons supermarkets, lots of good titles, all priced anywhere from 2.99 to 6.99. well, this week only they put them all on sale for half off the stickered prices. incredible deals to be had! I picked up a warner double feature of 2 barry levinson comedies (diner and liberty heights) on 2 seperate discs, both in widescreen, both with bonus features, for $3.50 (was stickered 6.99). also picked up peter jackson's "the frighteners" in widescreen, r-rated version, not the new directors cut, for 1.99 (a dollar less than seen at big lots). anyone with an albertsons supermarket near them, I strongly suggest they get in there in the next couple of days. these deals blow away big lots and ross, but this week only.

I am in florida, but, I believe that albertsons is a nationwide chain

They also have albertsons in Louisiana.

Albertsons extends beyond the NW. We have them here in Colorado and I know they were in Arizona when I lived there.

I saw the 50% off sale bin here in California so it might have been nationwide. Last Saturday I went in again though and they weren't 50% off anymore.

nice haul there!! I see you picked up about 15 movies for about 30 bucks

Just to let you know, all the "HD dvd's" I saw were actually combo discs that would play on a regular dvd player. Just in case some of the titles might have been something you'd want, they might actually be worth the purchase.
