Walmart Season Two Packs

I was at Walmart tonight ,and noticed they had several tv 2 packs for 19.99. I would have jumped all over these if I didn't already own them. A few that I remember:

Mash S1 / Rat Patrol S1
Young Riders / Magnificent Seven S1
Stargate S1/ Outer Limits

Adam's Family/Green Acres

How is Roswell? Remember the name from 10 years ago or so but never watched. Worth a blind buy for $20 for S1/2?

I blind bought Roswell season one a few years back and could never make it beyond the 3rd episode. It's like Witch Mountain with teens. There are better WB shows, but it's okay.

I paid $15 for the first season a few years ago. I thought it was a good show. I ended up picking up the other two seasons through Deep Discount sales. I can see why someone couldn't get past the 3rd episode. I had my wife watch it and she just couldn't get into it. After several months, and having nothing else to watch, she decided to give it another try. It eventually became one of her favorite shows. It does start off a little slow, building up the relationships and such. But eventually it becomes more involved (not as complex as something as Lost, but quite a bit for a WB/UPN teen show). Eventually Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica) becomes a showrunner, so that helps. I think $20 is definitely worth it for a blind buy. But you can watch the first season on Hulu. Maybe watch a few episodes and see if you might like it before buying it.

This is actually not correct. They advertise it as Seasons 1 and 2 but actually it is season 1 and half of season 2. Season 2 was broken into two sets and you only get the first set in this two pack.
