I'd be interested in seeing everybody's list of your five favorite WiiWare/Virtual Console games.

For me, it's all about the Goo.
But on the VC, we're going with Zelda and Super Metroid.

My favorite VC games are a bunch of classic TG shooters: Gates of Thunder, Lords of Thunder, Blazing Lazers, Parodius (PCE). And Military Madness, of course.

Just remember it is not the NES version with upgraded graphics. I really like the NEO GEO version, but it is gimped and made for the arcade. I have no regrets on purchasing it. It is great pick up and play baseball.

ToeJam and Earl was my favorite Genesis game, and is now my favorite Wii Console game. It would be something if someone ever got around to porting it to the DS, that would be a perfect fit for the game. I'm hoping that the Wii Virtual Arcade starts adding the original Donkey Kong and Mario Bros arcade games as the NES ports are lacking.

Yes, please! It is 2009, for pete's sake, and with all of the coverage for "The King Of Kong" and attempting to break the record, etc. this game has, how come we still cannot easily play an exact copy of original arcade DK? I know you could get it as an unlockable in DK64, but who wants to have to play through DK64 to get to it? I want to play the real deal with the "pie factory level" and the correct size stages (not like the Super GameBoy version)....

Here are my top 5:
1. Super Mario 64
2. Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask
3. Tetris Party
4. Lost Winds
5. World of Goo
I also have these:
Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past
Sin & Punishment
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros 2
Super Mario Bros 2 Lost Levels
Super Mario Bros 3
Super Mario World
The only one I really regret buying is Sin & Punishment. I'm using a wavebird and find that the controls are horrible - maybe it was meant to be played with the N64 controller. But I wish I had saved my money, or gotten something else.

Bubble Bobble Plus is most excellent, especially if you enjoyed the originals. Online leaderboards are fun.
