I wonder if it's just the Wii's amazing hardware sales that allows them to bring titles like this out. I was also surprised a month or so ago when they revealed Capcom vs. Tatsunoko was coming out here.
2010, though... :(

That's cool. Shiren the Wanderer for the DS frustrated the hell out of me and I ended up trading in the game :p.

Weird, amazon says April, I guess that's outdated?

Hmm... just got a note that Shiren shipped from Amazon today. I guess I lost track of it with all the Bioshock hype this week...

Mine should be in the mail today, but I gotta finish No More Heroes 2 first. :D2:

Okay, so I spent a good three hours on this last night (pushing both No More Heroes and Bayonetta out of the way, heh). Anyway, I think if you liked the DS game but found it to be too rough, I think you'll really enjoy this game. Instead of dropping you immediately into a hardcore rogue game, the "story mode" of the game has you going through a series of smaller Mysterious Dungeons while keeping your level. There's also an "Easy Mode" which removes the punishments for death (defeats the purpose of the game, but there it is).
I can't really say too much on it yet.. I imagine this will be a lot like Torneko: The Last Hope in that the game really "starts" once you beat the story mode stuff.

How does this control? Is there an option to use a Gamecube controller or classic controller? Waggle in a rogue-like seems...wrong.

There's Remote Horizontal, Remote Vertical, Remote/Nunchuck and Classic Controller options.

I like games that have classic controller controls and don't use the rightstick. Another game I can play with my Tatsu vs. Capcom stick.
I've only played the first level... Pixy, at some point does it reset you to level 1 for the next dungeon?

Yes, there are dungeons where you will start on level 1.
