Even though both of these shows are barely half the quality of many of the other participants from previous rounds, I guess I'll vote for The Simpsons, mostly because I don't really care for Seinfeld all that much.

Simpsons, hands down. Even accounting for anything past season 10, the early seasons do more than make up for them.

I still don't get all The Simpsons love. Yeah, it used to be a really good show - but at this point there are far more unfunny episodes than funny ones when you total them up. At least Seinfeld knew when to call it quits.

still can't fathom Simpsons beating The Sopranos. not my two favorite choices by far, but went with Sein.

So by definition, there are enough detractors to sink the top six favorite shows in this tournament, leaving number seven as the show with few enough enemies to survive. Interesting.

That seems like an odd statement. So by definition, there were enough McCain and Clinton detractors, leaving Obama as the candidate with few enough enemies to survive. Interesting.

It's a commentary on the amount of voting against that has been done (and that includes me, against Buffy when I felt it went too far) and the number of votes for The Simpsons that at least hint at a vote against Seinfeld or that note that The Simpsons hasn't been good in years in the opinion of the voter.

These phenomena seem to dwarf the people who are declaring their love for The Simpsons as an awesome freakin show.
