Monster S-video Cable or Sony made cable,

If I buy Monster Cable Monster Super Video 3 Double-Shielded S-Video Cable (1 meter)

$39.99

or the cheaper

Monster Cable Monster Super Video 2 High-Resolution S-Video Cable (1 meter)
$24.95

Will I see a improvement over my S-video cable I got for my sony dvp-530d player. I have a 35 inch sony trinaton tv also, that I connect the dvd player to.

Im confused about this, the sony wire don't look to sturdy, and I'm wondering if buying any of these cables will be an improvement over the sony cables.

Don't tell me to buy radio shack wires, I'm getting this from amazon.com for free.

Thanks in advance

If you are only going a few feet with the S-video cable I doubt you will see much of a difference between Monster and the cheap cable. I tried a 3 foot Monster S-video cable and could notice no difference between it and my cheap cable that came with the player. I think monster really makes a difference on longer runs where there is more chance for interference. If it is free though might as well get it.

topgun is right, a few feet will not make a difference. i would go with the monster cable s-video if it were free, eventhough you will probably not see a difference in the picture.
