10 Things I Hate About You
I think it is a good idea to make this movie into a television series. I saw the promo for it on television last night and I had to look up some more information on it. The cast looks fun and they are even bringing back Larry Miller, the original dad from the movie.

Doesn't look too bad. Nice to see Larry Miller get a consistent (maybe?) job. He was good in the role to begin with. Has it been 10 years since the film came out?!...

The girl playing Gabrielle Union's part... looks like her mini-Me.
At least they got Larry Miller to reprise his role.
Sad to say this, but I agree with GizmoDVD... I'll prolly watch it.

Looks cool. Always a sucker for High School themed shows. Plus, Greek will be done by the time this airs, so this will take it's place for me on ABC Family.

I definitely think this show will "stand alone" regardless if you were fan of the film or not. The premise is just so relatable and makes for good television I think. After watching the promo, I will surely give it a shot when it premieres.

I love the movie. I hope they keep in the little Shakespeare moments, even if it's just occasionally.

The one guy (playing the Joseph Gordon-Levitt role) reminded me of Michael Cera in his mannerisms and speach...

I liked the movie so I'll give this a shot, but I'm not sure about Lindsey Shaw in the Julia Stiles role. I really liked her in Aliens in America but the 'outcast' look just doesn't suit her.

Re: 10 Things I Hate About You
I think once we see the new actors in the roles they will eventually "own" the role itself on their own. I am sure a couple episodes in and we will forget Julia and Larisa! That is kind of what happened when I watched the new cast of 90210.

I'm looking forward to it. I loved the movie and GREEK is one of my favourite shows, so I have faith in ABC Family right now...

I still think it is too quick to judge. It won't hurt to tune in for the first couple episodes. That is the thing with new TV shows, you got to give them a chance and watch the first couple of episodes before just writing them off. So many have come up and surprised me a couple shows into the season.

Re: 10 Things I Hate About You
starman9000 -- Haha, good plan! I didn't think of that. My only problem with that is I always tend to wait and then am not able to get those first couple episodes and then I feel like I am behind. I love watching shows and knowing all the stories from the very beginning. I made the mistake of jumping on the "How I Met Your Mother" bandwagon in Season 2-3, so then I wish I had started watching from the beginning. I don't want to make that same mistake with this one!
