Bestbuy Rewardzone Pts. when using GC's?
I was thinking of buying a laptop during the tax free days in VA (May 25-31, 2009: Hurricane and Emergency Preparedness Equipment) at the Best Buy B&M store near me. I have a 50.00 GC. If I use this GC will I be denied all my points or just the 50.00 worth of points?
Since May is my birthday, BB sent me a coupon for triple points on any purchase. The Coupon does not actually say anything about laptops or computer systems but it does say computer accessories and major appliances. Do you think they would give me triple points on a laptop?

Just the 50 GC is not eligible for the points. And I think you're fine using the coupon with the laptop.

i bought and xbox 360 with about 150 bucks worth of gift cards and when i went to look at my reward points it discounted what i paid with gift cards and only added the points for the rest that i paid in cash
