I've got a flick to recommend- as I post this secondspin has 5 copies in stock of "Bye Bye Love" priced at $2.99 each. This movie has been trashed by some critics but for $2.99 you will get your money's worth and more just for the funny scenes(!) with Janeane Garofalo. Plus, I believe the movie may have recently went out of print so grab it now. I tried to use heynow yesterday, but got a message that it was invalid. Of course, now that this new code has popped up, the one copy they had left of the DVD I wanted is gone.

I only buy regular DVD and there's tons of great deals, mostly on older titles. Lots of stuff for less than $3.

I won't consider them deals. There have been relatively new blu-ray titles which have been priced lower than expected price in the past. 20% off + free shipping have only made the deal sweeter.

I have purchased Ghost Rider, 21, Dan in Real Life, Superbad, Juno, Jumper, Vantage Point, Michael Clayton etc. for less than $10 each.

Right now, Juno is available for less than $10 after discount.

A year ago, they used to have amazing deals on tv dvd boxsets. You could get Rome season 1 and 2 for 23 bucks before the coupon. Deadwood too. Star Trek sets for 33 bucks. Now they want 57. Screw you, SS. I'm tired of being disappointed by your prices.

Most of my orders come down to my needing to fill holes or nostalgia. Simple as that.

I actually want the Fighting Spirit DVDs because the quality of the content. It isn't a 10/10 series - it's far, far, far too repetitive - but it's a solid 8ish/10 series. I already own 12 volumes, so these two will edge me closer to getting a complete collection.

Ai Yori: Enshi has been a bitch to get via SS. First I ordered the art box and volume 1, only for SS to cancel because they didn't have stock (it later reappeared, of course.) Then, moths later, I ordered the volume 1 & 2 singles together, only for SS to cancel my order for volume 2 (volume 2 is on their site for $9.99 right now.) At least I only need the second volume to complete my Ai Yori set now...

The volume of Nadia I ordered I already own - I've ordered it again because my current copy and the replacement SS sent are lacking in terms of quality. I want 'Deep Blue Sea', but that's STILL $5.99 with 9+ copies in-stock. I don't want to spend over Ģ3 when the quality of my Nadia volumes has ranged from shit to mint.

E's Otherwise I got because every volume is cheap as chips and also because it was one of my first ever series. Great opening song and a decent Chop Suey AMV - that's all I remember about it. I know it's a pretty average series but whatever.

Star Ocean EX was my first ever anime, besides Digimon and Pokemon. It's a horrible adaptation that almost put me off anime right away but it's a Geneon title and I already own volume 6.

The rest of my orders were ordered in an attempt to complete (most likely) shit series I have bits and pieces of. I might as well try to complete them...

Itīs definitely my understanding that their prices have gone up in the last few years.

I hardly buy anything of the newly "used" released as these tend to be too expensive - even with 20% off.

I look for old/older titles in the $0.99 - $5.99 range. Especially hard to find or Out-Of-Print titles.

Underrated gems are also my passion to find. Takes some research to actually know what distinguish an "underrated gem", though.

However, I still find 20% OFF + Free Shipping rather attractive as I live in Scandinavia, which makes this deal better for Europeans than those living in the US.

That's what I do as well... Picked up a couple Adam Sandler movies (Click, The Longest Yard) for $5.62 shipped...Never considered myself a fan of his until I saw Reign Over Me.

Add The Ruins, The Bank Job, 10,000 B.C., Rescue Dawn, Shoot 'Em Up, The Other Boleyn Girl, Lost Boys: The Tribe and We Own the Night to the list. Those have all been under $10 recently. I've also bought dozens of DVDs from them for $4 or less and several TV sets for under $10.

Anyway, my point is that there are lots of deals to be had. You just have to shop around and be patient. Their prices change frequently, sometimes within a given sale. That's just the nature of used items.
