Gary Unmarried - Gary And His Half-Brother - 5/6/2009
This show had one of the most blatant product placement spots ever, with KFC Grilled Chicken getting a huge appearance in one scene and a callback spot in another. And since seeing the bags and buckets isn't enough, the characters had to go on about how good it was.
Of course, as timely as that is, the show also made references to seeing Danny Gans in Vegas. Oops...Well, they did put up a memorial at the end of the episode for him at least.
The show is not horrible, but not that good either. But the KFC infomercial and Danny Gans references couldn't go without some kind of comment.

Yeah, as soon as they walked in with that chicken I was laughing at the product placement. Is this their answer to everyone DVRing/TIVOing their shows and fast forwarding thru the commercials? I wonder if we'll be seeing more of it.
