Dom DeLuise R.I.P.

From The Dean Martin Show (Save it till the end) to Mel Brooks and Burt Reynolds always enjoyed him. Surprised he made it to 75 because of his weight.

He's very funny in lots of things, but the most recent thing I saw with him was a re-viewing of THE CHEAP DETECTIVE (1978), where he offers a hilarious parody of the Peter Lorre role from MALTESE FALCON.

I thought the same thing when I heard about his passing. So many great films from the last '70s and early '80s.

Re: Dom DeLuise R.I.P.

He was always funny with Burt Reynolds, although a lot of the stuff they did together was pretty bad.

RIP. I remember watching Cannonball Run about a million times as a kid and vivid memories of the outtakes with him at the end.

Don't forget the best one he ever directed, and which remains unreleased on DVD :

My earliest memory of him was convincing a singing frog into making the journey to Hollywood for a talent audition.

Captain Chaos is no more. That's a shame.

He was quite a talented comedic actor.
