How long is it good for, and is it good for both editions (single-disc DVD and the Criterion 2-disc DVD/Blu-ray)?

Will Best Buy take this if we just print it out?

Well, I guess you have to try it, but if you read the small print on the coupon itself it says that any reproduction of the coupon is prohibited.

Which issue is this in? I just checked the two most recent issues, and I don't see it...just an ad for the DVD.

i guess the "Hurry Offer Expires May 19, 2009!" on the scan right above your post was too small :)

i would like to know exactly what issue this was in as well...

**edit** saw at another site that the issue is the one with Christina Aguilera on the cover. issue cost $3.00 so if you don't have a subscription it would be useless :(

I started to give him a hard time but then I noticed the posts were about a minute apart. The previous post probably wasn't there when he went to reply.

The coupon is a tear out insert about the size of a post card, and not printed on an actual page. The other side of the card says "Save $3 Now on DVD and Blu-ray

I finally tracked one down. It's definitely good on the Blu-ray, says so specifically on the back side.

i think i found it in there as well. it was already loose, so i let it slip on the floor and slyly picked it up -wink-

Trying to decide if it's worth saving $1.25 after tax to print this out and go to BB rather than just buying it from Amazon...

Yeah, I decided against using it in the end since Button isn't really a must-have for me. $3 off isn't tempting enough for me.

Same here. I'll own it eventually, and would have used the coupon if anyone had an exclusive. But I can wait for it to hit $10 or less.

Do Criterions ever get to that low of a price?

BASISON

I picked up my copy at Fry's for $24.99 - $3 off = $21.99. I would have spent just that, but they had a bunch of Blu Ray titles for $9.99 that were too tempting.

I have about 50 Criterions for which I've paid $10 or less.

I apologize about my post on the first page, but I thought that the coupon would strictly be for the Paramount single-disc DVD and Criterion 2-disc BD.

I found a coupon myself and used it for the 2-disc DVD. Works fine.

I think odds are very good that a mainstream Criterion will be very inexpensive at some point in the future. Look at Royal Tenenbaums for an example.

Coupons.com now has the coupon available to print out (still expires 5/19), so no one else has to pursue the double-issue of People to get it.
