Resident Evil 2 vs Deus Ex is the first difficult choice in this contest for me to make. RE2 is the best RE game in the franchise. It was such a huge improvement over the original game, and then RE3 started taking the franchise downhill into more of an action focus and less of a horror focus. Deus Ex is the perfect blend of FPS and RPG, which is something no other game has ever been able to do as well as Deus Ex did. Not even Bioshock could do it.
