great price! luckily i had $35 exact in best buy RZ certificates, so i just took advantage of that and got them for "free." otherwise, i'd definitely be on this.

Really? I didn't know they came with slipcases, my pre-orders from Wherehouse didn't have them.

yea i was suprised too,they had quite a few actually,i didnt think they would have them.but they are pretty cool,they have a shiny metallic look to them.

No. It was possible that they would be and I'm guessing that reviewer thought so because of the Fantastic Four set, but several people have confirmed that these episodes are in their uncut form. Get them, enjoy them, and hope for more of them! :)

I've wanted this on dvd forever. I saw this in Best Buy and though it was comic scans or something on dvd. I can't wait till these are delivered Tuesday, thanks for posting it :D

With regard to slipcovers, none of the copies I saw at various Targets or Wal-Marts had them, but they had them at the numerous Best Buys I hit this week.
Oddly, one Target I hit on Saturday was actually RE-stocking their supply with slipcovered editions, even though their Tuesday-Friday stock was sans-cover.
Anyway, there's the info, for anybody who cares about this kinda thing.

Arrived w/o slip covers on either volume... but at almost $5 more (4.02 + tx) to get from BB, it was still worth it to get from Amazon.

Anyone know if series such as Hulk, Ironman, Silver Surfer, Avengers, X-men will ever see releases like these? I see they are for sale on Amazon UK, but those are PAL editions.
