Deep Discount Sony TV sale
I was just browsing through deep discount dvd site and found a 51 per cent sale off of sony tv dvd's, http://www.deepdiscount.com/DVD---SP...9VVviewcat.htm. They had some real good deals on some of the old 70's cop shows like charlies angels,the rookies,swat,t.j. hooker,starsky and hutch and police woman.You could get the seasons for a little over 12 dollars a piece if you ordered 3 of them and then used the 10 per cent off 40 dollars coupon code

They have The Rookies for $13 bucks , I have not seen this show since the 70s has anyone seen it lately does it hold up?

I loved police woman too,I am hopeing it still holds up because i have not seen an episode for years. I ordered the first season of police woman,charlies angels and tj hooker and it came out to a little over 12 bucks a season with the 10 per cent off code

live.com just ammended their rules that if you use a coupon, you wont get the rebate. It could still go through if you use the 10 percent deal. Alternatively cashbaq has a 1 percent rebate and allows coupons.

Ugh, this is a nightmare. I always seem to have issues with box sets from DDD and this packaging seems almost guaranteed to have wrecked discs. However, it is the price of one season for the whole thing. Anyone already buy this have good luck with non-scratched discs?

i got this from deep discount the week of its release and it was in perfect condition with no scratches. however i also ordered 3 other dvds so it was packed in a box. i think thats they key. in a padded envelope i think the packaging would flatten causing pressure on the discs. (they are all stacked on a single plastic spindle in a light cardboard box)

I think that's been a rule. Maybe now they are actually enforcing it.
This sales SUCKS. I hope DD is not having severe financial trouble. Their sales have been progressively worse. Except for the fact some of these have had MSRP reductions, these have been cheaper at their B1G1 sales.
It seems people are still willing to spend money, but only if they are getting a good deal. Even people that in the past have not been budget-conscious are waiting for sales. I don't understand the logic of DD's busines model.

I received Sanford & Son & What's Happening complete seasons in mailer envelopes from DD. The boxes were smashed, but none of the discs were scratched. I usually put TV series discs that don't come in slimcases in amarays anyway, so although I originally hated the packaging, I'm okay with it, especially for the $22 per series price in the BOGO sale earlier this year.
