Alright. Here's how you play. Name a movie cliché. Look at <a href="http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/classifieds?category=search1&SearchType=1&Class=62&FromDate=19150101&ToDate=20091231&SortOrder=Title">Ebert's Movie Glossary</a> for ideas.
The next person then names three different movies where this occurs. If you're stuck at one or two, name them so someone can finish. That person can then select the next cliché. If your cliché has spoilers (<i>It was all a dream</i> etc.) then please put your answers in spoilers as well.
I'll start off with a very easy one:
The minute the final fight/showdown between the protagonist and the villain ends, the police/authorities arrive.

Saw 2
Watchmen (kind of a stretch =)
The hero/heroine is in some room with a mirror, and the killer sneaks up and is shown in the mirror.
I think this is in just about every horror film ever... LOL =)

You can't name a new cliché until you answer the previous one. :)

Yep. I read the initial post and thought this was interesting. By the time I got to the end of the very short thread, I didn't know what to do next.

The Big Boss/Fists of Fury has to be the most obvious and literal example.

To answer the OP: Bruce Willis movies.
Die Hard 2: Die Harder
The Last Boy Scout
Live Free or Die Hard
Here's a good, easy one:
Many serial killers could also find employment as the authors of double-acrostics and conundrums. In searching for such killers, hero detectives invariably find an abandoned apartment with newspaper clippings and photos on the wall showing the killers a) victims b) pursuer c) next victim and d) a message to his pursuers. It's made even easier when you give two examples in your cut and paste!

^ Every Friday the 13th movie
Mine:
The film's villain spends an incredible amount of time talking about how much he's going to hurt/maim/torture/kill the good guy who is right in front of him, giving said good guy enough time to thwart his attack.

Goldfinger
El Mariachi
The Incredibles (good joke making fun of this phenomenon)
Here's mine:
When the hero needs a car all he has to do is jump into any car and a) the keys will be in the car or b) it will take less than 10 seconds to hot wire the car...and of course all heros know how to hot wire cars.

The Terminator
T2
Gone in 60 Seconds (though that was the premise of movie, but still...)
Big Trouble in Little China (i think)
Mine:
loved one/hero or heroine dies, then significant other gives them a kiss and they magically come back to life.
