Universal is shooting for a Beetlejuice vibe. At least they didn't actually remake Beetlejuice instead, even if it would have meant a decent special edition DVD/BD.

Cool. Seems like a fine movie to remake. This is the kind of remake that I really don't mind.

Looking back, Drop Dead Fred is a peculiar movie. Not many like it.
