I pre-ordered these two blu-rays on bestbuy.com with instore pickup. The total was $36.73 on the webpage, but when I went to pick them up today I was only charged 16.02. The receipt clearly lists them as blu-ray, but they rang up 7.50 each. I checked my CC and it shows the 16.02 charge. I'm not sure why it happened but I wasn't going to question it.

Just hope they don't realize their mistake and adjust your charge amount.

The order page shows the 37 total but when I look at it the items are adjusted in price to 8.01 each and it says a refund for the difference was processed.

My order also showed up as $7.50 each, I won't complain if they get around to fixing it. I did however had to spend quite a bit of time at the store to get the moviecash. None of the X-men movies had the stickers, so they ended up peeling them off different titles and applying it to my copies.

No dice here and no X-men 1 or X-men 2 with Movie cash.

My X-3 and Horton both had the stickers so np there.

I don't think they can do that once the charge has been made and signed for.

I'm guessing this was only for pre-orders?

Has anyone tried this but with in-store pickup, now that the Blu-Rays are out?

Yeah something is really screwy on this one.

Pre-ordered on Sunday, picked up about an hour ago.

The receipt lists each disc (X-Men BD and X2 BD) as $7.50 for subtotal of $10.00 plus .70¢ tax.

When I log into my order on BB.com, it looks like this:
http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/3550/picture2copyy.png (http://img26.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture2copyy.png)

That matches the math on the checkout/pick-up receipt.

It didn't look like that BEFORE I picked up my order. I read this thread earlier today, checked my order at BB.com and it matched the original order e-mail of $32.10.

I paid with a gift card and a RZ certificate, so I called the number on the back of the gift card... well wait, $21.40 has been PUT back on the card as of this transaction on 4/21.

Used a $50 gift card, used a $5 RZ certificate: It should have a balance of $17.90 under the original order, $39.30 under the pick-up math, but now the card now has a balance of $44.30.

I'm down $5.70 total.

I got the same thing. Ordered X1 and X2 online Sunday, in-store pickup today, $7.50 each. I didn't even notice it at the store, I only looked at the receipt after reading this here. Also says $7.50 each in my account on the web page. The charge hasn't posted to my cc account yet so I don't know what was charged to my card.

But if these are $7.50 each plus two free movie tickets - can't beat that!

It didn't work for me. Oh well it was worth a shot.

Does it look like this isn't working tonight? I was ready to return the trilogy set if I could get 1 & 2 for $15.

I couldn't pass up the chance to at least try this. No go for me. I wonder if it only worked for people who did a preorder.

I think this was b/c of the sale price of the xmen blurays today. IIRC, they were 29.99 normally before today when they dropped to 19.99.

The $10 difference would explain the $17.50 to $7.50 drop

Nice surprise for me when I just picked them up. My only issue was I somehow ordered X2 in both of my orders instead of X3. So the cashier refunded me $7.50 for the 2nd X2 and then the X3 rang up for $19.99. I had no idea what was going on. In retrospect I should have just taken the 2nd X2 and done a receiptless exchange for X3 at a later date. 4 Blus for $44.xx total is pretty good and I didn't want to bring attention to the obvious error in their computers. Only 2 movie cash codes too since XMen and X2 didn't have it.

So it is safe to say it doesn't work if you try it now?

It didn't work like this when I ordered mine this afternoon...

Yeah, that's probably what happened but the difference shouldn't have been applied since it was a package 2 for $35 deal.

Hey everyone. Longtime reader, first time poster. I was quite surprised (as was the BB employee) when I picked up my copies of X and X2 yesterday and the total was 16.02. But from the looks of my CC statement this morning, they charged me for the full amount of $36.73. Did this happen to anyone else? I've emailed them about it, but haven't heard anything back yet.

I still haven't seen my charge posted. But if it is the full amount, that's what it should have been anyway so I won't complain.

Yeah, I'm not going to make a fuss about it. If BB writes back that I have to pay the full amount, I'd deal. It's still a great price for both. Just wanted to see if this was happening to anyone else.

If you check your order on bestbuy.com it should say a refund for the difference was processed. It would depend on how fast your CC posts credits, but it will show up.

So it's set in stone that this $15 price only applied to the preorder?!!!!! %$%^ I'm so jealous.

The charge was finally posted to my cc account and it was $15.82 including tax so I was just charged $7.50 @.
